- The 32-page program book is a replica of the book that was sold in Japan’s theaters. The original postcards are the same postcards included in the Japanese Limited Edition DVD. The DVDs are Region 1 encoded, which means they only work on devices sold in the U.S. and Canada.
Royal Space Force, Gunbuster, and Neon Genesis Evangelion are all works by the animation studio Gainax. Gurren Lagann is also a masterpiece mecha anime by Gainax. This is an epic story of one person who has yet to realize his destiny. Far into the future, a civilization is forced to live beneath the ground. Simon sees a small light and drills through the dirt, unveiling a huge mecha face. Thus the battle begins with the creatures that control the land above.
