The Eighth Ita G Festa, a festival for cars decorated with anime and game characters that are also referred to as itasha, was held on Sept. 22 in Odaiba Rainbow Town.
There were about 1,020 itasha in total gathered from all around Japan! The best part was when all the imaginatively decorated cars were lined up on a huge site. The guests of the event could buy goods to turn their beloved cars into itasha at the established shop booth and also receive tips on how to make an itasha at the consultation booth, all while enjoying the sight of their favorite characters painted on cars. With all this, we expect that there will be more than 1,000 cars next time as well!
Let’s take a look at some of the most mind-blowing itasha at the event.
What do you think? Did you find your dream car? If you’d like to try your hand at creating your own itasha, you definitely should. After all, love of “waifus” crosses even the widest oceans.
