The video also showcases the anime’s ending theme for the first time. Titled "Alicia", it is performed by popular anisong duo ClariS.
Magia Record is inspired by the smartphone game of the same name, which takes place in the universe of Puella Magi Madoka Magica, a popular TV anime that first aired in 2011.
Gekidan Inu Curry will handle direction/series composition, while Aoki Ume will provide main character design, and Shaft will produce. TrySail is performing the opening theme, “Gomakashi”.
Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story airs from Jan. 4.
