Cowboy Bebop will be getting a live action US TV adaptation produced by Tomorrow Studios and Netflix!
Although cast info is yet to come, it's been revealed that the original director of the acclaimed anime, Watanabe Shinichiro, will serve as a consultant for the 10 episode series, which will stream worldwide via Netflix.
Based on the original anime animated by Sunrise, the series will follow a gang of space bounty hunters as they fly through the galaxy chasing criminals and saving the world after extricating themselves from various dangerous situations.
After airing back in 1998 as a TV anime, Cowboy Bebop went on to become a hit title in Japan and overseas. In addition to several manga adaptations, an anime movie was also released in 2001.
