The TV anime Sora no Method will begin broadcasting this fall. Now, new information has been revealed. Sora no Method is an original anime being created by original planner and screenplay writer Naoki Hisaya and character planner QP:flapper.
The broadcast schedule to this attention-grabbing work by this tag team of creators has also been cemented. The broadcast will begin on Tokyo MX on Oct. 5. The anime will also broadcast thereafter on TV Hokkaido, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS11, and it will be distributed on Niconico Live and Bandai Channel.
Naoki Hisaya is known from the PC game Kanon, and QP:flapper is also the character planner on the social game Girl Friend (Beta). Each is a well-known hitmaker. The anime is being produced by Studio 3Hz, a fresh studio launched in 2013, and is also the studio’s first work. This fact is bringing lots of attention to the anime before its broadcast.
A key visual has also been released. The visual shows the six main characters and is finished off in a cute touch with Nonoka Komiya and Noel standing back-to-back. Stay tuned for how this story set in a town in which a mysterious flying saucer appears develops.
Coming before the broadcast, an advance screening of Episodes 1 and 2 will be held on Sept. 23. Scheduled to appear at the event at United Cinemas Toyosu are Shiina Natsukawa, Aki Toyosaki, Haruka Yoshimura, Mikako Komatsu, Kaito Ishikawa, and Inori Minase from the main cast. Larval Stage Planning, the group responsible for the theme song, will also hold a mini concert at the event. Tickets are numbered seating only and cost 3,000 yen (tax included). They also come with a bonus item.
In other news, the web radio show Sora no Method Broadcasting Office will begin on Sept. 26. The personalities for the show will be Shiina Natsukawa and Inori Minase. Because it’s an original work, there are still many unknowns regarding Sora no Method. Make sure not to miss any of the follow-up reports.
