An anime adaptation of the manga series Idolmaster SideM: Riyuu Atte Mini! has been officially announced for an Oct. 9 premiere!
The anime, like the manga of the same name illustrated by sumeragi and published in Dengeki Maoh, will focus on the unique and charming daily lives of the talented male idols signed to 315 Production, as cute mini characters. Mankyuu, who has previously directed works like Idolmaster Cinderella Girls: Gekijou and Mobile Suit Gundam-san, will take up the role of director this time around.
Idolmaster SideM began in 2014 as an idol-raising card game for PC and smartphones. Since then, it has evolved into a franchise encompassing light novels and manga adaptations, as well as an anime that aired in late 2017.
Idolmaster SideM: Riyuu Atte Mini will debut on Tokyo MX, BS11, and other stations on Oct. 9.
