The first in a series of new “Buddy Series” anime projects for popular superhero franchise Tiger & Bunny, Double Decker! Doug & Kirill will be hitting the airwaves in autumn 2018.
The new series will follow slippery veteran detective Doug and his enthusiastic rookie partner, Kirill. Alongside the previously announced Mikami Satoshi as Doug and Amazaki Kouhei as Kirill, Hayami Saori will play Deena Del Rio, Anzai Chika will play Catherine "Kei" Rochefort, Taichi Yo will play Maxine "Max" Silverstone, and Tanezaki Atsumi will play Fujishiro Yuji. Sunrise will be handling production with Katsura Masakazu providing character design.
Ahead of the regular TV broadcast, the anime will make an appearance at a special premiere event in Shinjuku on Sept. 2. Part of Sunrise Festival 2018, attendees will have the chance to view advanced screenings of Episodes 1 and 2.
Double Decker! Doug & Kirill is slated to premiere in autumn 2018.
