The military fantasy series Saga of Tanya the Evil has unveiled its first key visual, showcasing the young but brutal Tanya von Degurechaff gazing intensely at something while her cape fiercely blazes.
The movie is to be directed by Uemura Yutaka ( FLCL Alternative ) with animation by Studio NUT ( One-Punch Man: Road to Hero ), both having worked on the TV anime aired in 2017. Aoi Yuki and Hayami Saori will also reprise their roles as Tanya and Visha.
First introduced to the world by author Carlo Zen, Saga of Tanya the Evil begins with a ruthless businessman who is condemned to rebirth in an alternate war-torn world as a little girl. If he dies of non-natural causes or doesn’t turn to the light of God, he is to be punished with eternity in Hell.
