Made in Abyss Movie Releases Visual of Rico and Reg

The Made in Abyss compilation movie has released a new teaser poster featuring heroes Rico and Reg overlooking an “abyss” from a rocky outcrop.

Based on Tsukushi Akito's fantasy manga, Made in Abyss follows orphan Rico and robot Reg's quest to explore the secrets of the "Abyss", a mysterious hole that goes deep into the earth.

The compilation movie will be released in two parts set to open this winter: Made in Abyss Movie 1: Tabidachi no Yoake and Made in Abyss Movie 2: Hourou suru Tasogare.

In addition, fans can look forward to a separate "new episode" in the works, although story and broadcast details have not yet been announced. For a peek, check out the announcement video below.
