Season 2 of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. reached its final episode on Jun. 26, but hinted that it wouldn't be the end for the anime!
During the episode, protagonist Saiki Kusuo acts surprised on hearing about a new anime project, claiming to know nothing about it but signing off with “see you next time”.
The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. revolves around high school student Saiki, who possesses a wide range of unusual powers that are so dreadful they could destroy the world... but luckily for regular humans, he just wants to live as normally as he can! Wacky classmates and strange situations make that wish just a bit hard to grant, though.
A photo featuring the cast and crew after the final recording session was also shown in the broadcast. Kusuo’s voice actor, Kamiya Hiroshi, also thanked fans for their continued support and expressed his hopes that Kusuo’s premonition of more anime adventures will prove to be true.
