The fourth in the series of stage plays inspired by Katou Kazue’s Blue Exorcist will open in Tokyo on Oct. 20 and will run until Oct. 29 before moving to Kobe for performances from Nov. 2 to 5.
Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Arc adapts volumes 10 to 15 of the original manga into a dynamic stage play filled with sword play and dance directed by Nishida Daisuke.
Kitamura Ryo will play Okumura Rin, while Miyazaki Shuto will play his twin, Okumura Yukio.
Other cast members announced so far include: Yamato Ikkei (Suguro Ryuji), Sawaka Koji (Shima Renzo), Doi Yuto (Miwa Konekomaru), Matsuoka Rie (Moriyama Shiemi), Higuchi Ryuta (Takara Nemu), Komaki Mako (Paku Noriko), Okubo Satomi (Kamiki Izumo), Yokota Ryugi (Lucifer), Inamura Azusa (Bodyguard Commander), Yuya Hara (Michael Gedoin), Izumi Shuhei (Mephisto Pheles), and Tanaka Ryoko (Kamiki Tamamo).
Blue Exorcist: Shimane Illuminati Arc will be staged at Zepp Theater Roppongi, Tokyo from Oct. 20−29, and Shin Kobe Oriental Theater, Kobe, from Nov. 2−5, 2017.
