The return of Rurouni Kenshin begins on Sept. 4 with the “Hokkaido Arc” in Jump SQ’s Oct. 2017 issue!
The new serialization was just recently announced in Jump SQ’s Sept. 2017 issue. A new illustration of Himura Kenshin was revealed as the front cover, where his serious expression and critical gaze hinted that many a violent battle is on the way.
Jump SQ will also be celebrating their 10th anniversary with autograph sessions in five different cities across Japan! Rurouni Kenshin’s Watsuki Nobuhiro, Blue Exorcist’s Katou Kazue, Blood Blockade Battlefront’s Nightow Yasuhiro, Platinum End’s Obata Takeshi, and The Prince of Tennis’s Konomi Takeshi will meet with fans starting in Hokkaido sometime in September. Afterward, they’ll make their way around Nagoya, Osaka, Fukuoka, and Tokyo.
