Bungo Stray Dogs Dead Apple Sets Early 2018 Release Date

Bungo Stray Dogs is headed to the big screen with a movie titled Dead Apple, and its release date has been set for early 2018.

Along with the announcement of the official title and release date, the movie has also released a new visual featuring the four protagonists, Nakajima Atsushi, Dazai Osamu, Akutagawa Ryunosuke, and Nakahara Chuya. Director Igarashi Takuya and scriptwriter Enokido Yoji will continue in their roles from the TV anime with Arai Nobuhiro handling character design and Bones in charge of animation production. The author of the original manga, Asagiri Kafka, will also be involved in the scriptwriting process.



The early 2018 release date is announced at the end of the teaser PV which also confirms the that the voice actors from the TV anime will reprise their roles in the theatrical adaptation.
