Soccer and cleanliness generally don’t go hand, but in less than a month’s time, we get to see how the titular character of Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun ( Cleanliness Boy! Aoyama-kun ) can make it work! That’s right, it's been announced that the show will premiere from July 2 on Tokyo MX, July 3 on Yomiuri TV, and July 4 on BS11. It will also be distributed online.
They also revealed the main cast in the 28th issue of Weekly Young Jump: Okiayu Ryotaro ( Slam Dunk, Onegai My Melody ) will be voicing Aoyama-kun, an MF in the Japanese national U-16 team and a clean freak, Seki Tomokazu (**Fate/stay night**, Doraemon) will take on the role of Zaizen Kaoru, an enthusiastic 2nd-year FW, and Haruno Anzu ( Urara Meirocho ) will be playing Goto Moka, Aoyama-kun’s classmate who is in love with him.

Additional cast will be announced at the “Cleanliness Blue Member Announcement Press Conference” on June 19. Hosted by popular comedian Mukai Tenshin, it will feature Okiayu Ryotaro, Seki Tomokazu, Haruno Anzu, as well as cast members yet to be revealed, as guests. The conference will be streamed on Nico Nico Live Broadcast from June 19 9:30 pm JST.
**Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun** is based on Sakamoto Taku’s manga currently being serialized in Weekly Young Jump. The series will be directed by Ichikawa Kazuya, Goto Midori will take on series composition and scriptwriting, and Matsuura Arisa will handle character design. It will be produced by TMS Entertainment and animated by Studio Hibari. Stay tuned for upcoming developments!
