King of Prism: Pride the Hero released a teaser PV featuring the theme song “Vivi-℃ Heart Session!”, sung by the freshmen of Edel Rose!
It’s full of tension as Edel Rose, a prominent school training Prism Stars, is in danger of being disbanded due to the machinations of Schwarz Rose, founded by Norizuki Jin. Who is Kouji writing a song to and why is he mad at Hiro? We can also see Kazuki saying”I’ll leave the rest to you” to Taiga, one of the freshmen, handing the baton to the next generation.
The movie will also feature new characters such as Takadanobaba George (Sugita Tomokazu), the strongest idol of Schwarz Rose, or the managing director of Juoin Holdings who plots to destroy Edel Rose along with Kakeru.
With Louis’s magnificent Prism Jump, Alexander’s fiery head spin, or Taiga accepting a challenge with a war fan, this movie will feature a Prism Show more spectacular than ever!
The movie’s prequel, King of Prism by Pretty Rhythm introduced the concept of a Prism Show, the ultimate form of entertainment that combines figure skating, singing, dancing, and tops it off with Prism Jumps. It was a huge hit earning 800 million yen in box office takings with an attendance of 480,000, and with so much expectations built up, it seems Pride the Hero might outshine even that.
In addition, Taiga’s giant fan featured in the trailer will also be available in a smaller version from Apr. 26 (pre-order). The perfect tool to cool yourself with after the more intense scenes~
Also, Animate shops all over Japan will be throwing a fair from the day of the premiere, so there’s that to look forward to as well!
