Mobile Suit Gundam the Origin: Clash - The Battle of Loum, the fifth installment in the Mobile Suit Gundam the Origin series, is set to premiere on Sep. 2!
The previous part originally started with 15 theaters and was shown for two weeks, and it was so well-received that they had to double the number of theaters featuring the movie. To make it available to as many fans as possible, The Battle of Loum will be screened in 35 theaters including Shinjuku Piccadilly for four weeks.
In the movie, Char Aznable becomes an officer of the Zeon Armed Forces and participates in the Battle of Loum as the commander of an assault battalion, earning his name “The Red Comet” from the Earth Federation army.
We also get to see Sayla Mass, Ramba Ral, Crowley Hamon, Amuro Ray and Fraw Bow, and the Mobile Suits Zaku II and Char’s Zaku II will be making an appearance as well.
The first round of advance tickets will be available in theaters from Apr. 29. Sold for 1,800 yen, they come with an A6 clear file featuring the key visual as a bonus, a cool souvenir to remember the movie by~
