The multimedia project Konbini Kareshi will begin its very own TV anime sometime in July!
As a shoujo work, Konbini Kareshi revolves around six handsome high schools that spend their free afternoons in a nearby convenience store, forging friendships and making their way through life. Since the project has already released several mooks and drama CDs successfully, there are already tons of excited fans eagerly awaiting this premiere!
Currently, no details have been released about the main cast. However, the main site revealed that the series will be directed by Date Hayato ( Naruto ) with characters designed by Ishikawa Tomomi ( Gintama, Chobits, Persona 3 the Movie ).
Finally, animation will be handled by Studio Pierrot, a studio that has handled animation for hit shows like Bleach, YuYu Hakusho, and more recently Boruto.
With the premiere only a few months away, interesting details are sure to surface sooner rather than later. Stay tuned!
