SAO Brings in More Than 2 Million Yen in Japan

Sword Art Online The Movie: Ordinal Scale continues its rampaging success: After topping the charts on its first weekend, it continues to rank among the top 10 every weekend since its release on Feb. 18. The film presently boasts a total attendance of 1.4 million in Japan and 0.7 million worldwide, earning more than 2 billion yen in Japan and 600 million yen worldwide.

Those who go to watch the movie on the sixth and seventh week will be presented with an exclusive illustrated mini cardboard drawn by original illustrator and character designer abec himself!

The Kirito and Eiji versions will be distributed randomly from Mar. 25 to 31, while the Asuna and Yuna versions will be available between Apr. 1 and 7.
