The live-action film JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable - Chapter 1 based on the original work by Araki Hirohiko will premier on Aug. 4.
Diamond is Unbreakable is the 4th part to Araki Hirohiko’s manga series JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Casting includes Yamazaki Kento as protagonist Higashikata Josuke, Kamiki Ryunosuke as Josuke’s classmate Hirose Koichi, Komatsu Nana as Yamagishi Yukako, Okada Masaki as antagonist Nijimura Keicho, Mackenyu as his younger brother Okuyasu, Yamada Takayuki as Katagiri Anjuro, Iseya Yusuke as Kujo Jotaro, Mizuki Alisa as Josuke’s mom Tomoko, and Kunimura Jun as his grandfather Ryohei.
Filming started in October in Sitges, Spain, and has come to end, and now filming is being carried out in Japan. Director Miike Takashi said about the Sitges filming, “The movie costumes look great on the streets of Sitges and fit in well. Filming scenes in the towns and alleys of Spain have been ideal.”
