Fate/Grand Order is a new Fate RPG for smartphones (iOS/Android app, free to play with in-game purchases) by TYPE-MOON and co-developed by Notes Co., Ltd. and Delight Works Inc. Players take on the role of Master in a world which has lost its future. Accompanied by characters known as Servants, players set on a quest known as Grand Order.
A wonderful staff has been pulled together for this including Takashi Takeuchi of TYPE-MOON, as well as Kinoko Nasu and a number of talented voice actors. In addition to the main six chapters currently released, there are special stories for each Servant, totalling more than 1 million written characters in this high-volume work.
Fate/Grand Order has been downloaded more than 7 million times as of July 30, 2016, one year after its release, and Aniplex Inc. has announced it is producing and broadcasting a long TV anime special based on the game.

The final age in which sorcery still exists.
The Organization for the Preservation of the Common Sense of Man, Chaldea, observes the world that can’t be seen with only magic, and can’t be measured with only science. It is a secret military agency built with the goal of protecting mankind against its certain extinction.
Under orders to extend human history above all else, a number of researchers were brought together. The fruits of their labor guaranteed mankind another 100 years.
And yet...
Without any clear cause, the future Chaldea had been observing disappeared.
It established, no, proved that mankind would go extinct in 2017.
The cause seems to be in the Japanese town of Fuyuki in 2004 AD.
A never-before seen “Non-Observable Domain” has appeared here.
Chaldea thus announces the Grand Order, seeking to investigate and explain or destroy singularity points.
