Tokyo One Piece Tower doesn’t believe in waiting until the day of Halloween to dress up how you want - that’s why they’re holding a season-limited event that comes complete with weekly costume contests!
This One Piece theme park is hosting “One Piece Halloween 2016” from Sept. 17 to Oct. 31, though the contests only begin with “Transformation Contest: 1st Battle” on Oct. 1. Each battle takes place every Saturday for a total of four battles on the 1st, 8th, 15th, and 22nd. Anyone can participate, but only those who rank high in excellence and superiority will be invited to the showdown “Transformation Final Battle” on Oct. 29.
Those invited will not only have a chance to garner fans and show off their transformation prowess, but some lucky few can receive wonderful prizes, such as 1 kilogram in Kumamoto-native Wagyu beef, a One Piece Log Collection Vol. 1-5 DVD set, or even a personally handwritten congratulatory note on colored paper by Eiichiro Oda himself!
Pictures will also be taken of every participant. Those who don’t want to participate can still view the contest at the park, where they can also vote on their favorite at a panel.
■ Tokyo One Piece Tower
On March 13, 2015, Tokyo Tower Foot Town opened their doors, which is home to shops, cafes, and the first large One Piece-dedicated theme park! Visitors can experience the One Piece world with lively attractions, live shows, restaurants, and original goods available for purchase in shops. The park is charming with hours of fun for anyone, which is exactly why it’s explosive in popularity.
On the 48th day it was open for business, the number of visitors surpassed 100,000. Additionally, the most popular live show, “One Piece Live Attraction,” was performed over 2,000 times in the span of 9 months. Visitors come from everywhere to experience the theme park.

Same Day Tickets: Adult (19+) = 3,200 yen / Older students (middle/high school) = 2,700 yen / Younger children (elementary school/toddlers) = 1,600 yen
Pre-Order Tickets: Adult (19+) = 3,000 yen / Older students (middle/high school) = 2,600 yen / Younger children (elementary school/toddlers) = 1,500 yen
