The TV anime Assassination Classroom, which broadcast on Fuji TV and other networks beginning this January, will be returning in 2016. The second season TV broadcast has been confirmed. The anime will begin on Fuji TV and other networks in January. A new story will unfold between Koro-sensei and the students.
Assassination Classroom tells the story of the students of Class-E who are imposed with the mission of assassinating Koro-sensei, a being of immense power who can reach speeds of Mach 20 who declares he will destroy the Earth next March. He is a mysterious character who is put in charge of a class of underachieving third-year middle school students nicknamed “End Class.”
Its depiction of a year of hard work for both student and teacher centered on the keyword “assassination,” its novel and unique setting, and its delicately weaved together story gained notice, and the series has gathered wide support. The original manga is currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump and it has surpassed 17 million copies of the tankobon volumes in print. With a live-action movie greenlit too, all eyes are on the series and its various developments.
That being the case, one of these developments that we can count on is the second season of the TV anime. Though the broadcast itself was announced previously, new broadcast information and a new visual have been released this time. In the new visual you can check out the students working through a methodical plan to assassinate Koro-sensei in the Class 3-E classroom. Just like season 1, it seems we’ll be able to see abundantly unique students and Koro-sensei yet again.
During the season 1 climax, the students ditch the classroom for the southern islands where they carry out a large-scale assassination attempt on Koro-sensei, and Nagisa shows off how strong he’s become with a magnificent win in a showdown with former teacher Takaoka. Just what will happen in the new story to unfold in season 2? We’ll be on the edge of our seats from here out.
