Tokyo Game Show 2015 (TGS), the world’s largest gaming event, will be held for four days from Sept. 17–20 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba. The entirety of Makuhari Messe will be used for this year’s event (International Exhibit Halls 1-11, Makuhari Event Hall, International Conference Hall), which will be the largest in its history. More than 220,000 attendees are expected.
TGS, along with E3 and Gamescom, is one of the three biggest gaming conventions in the world. It highlights computer entertainment across a number of genres, from upcoming games for the latest consoles, to smartphones, PCs, and VR devices. Last year, there were 202 overseas companies from 31 countries/regions, 1,293 media personnel from 33 countries/regions, and 251,832 people in attendance over the event’s four days.
This year’s E3 was full of surprise announcements, like The Last Guardian and a remake of FFVII. What does TGS have in store this year? Gamers, don’t miss it!
