Previously announced to begin broadcasting in October, information on broadcast channels and streaming has been revealed for the TV anime Diabolik Lovers More, Blood. The first televised broadcast will take place on AT-X on Sept. 24, with terrestrial broadcasts beginning on Tokyo MX on Oct. 4. The anime will also be streamed on Niconico Douga.
Diabolik Lovers More, Blood is the second season of Diabolik Lovers which began its broadcast in September 2013. The series is an anime adaptation of a popular game by Otomate, the leaders in otome games. Along with its popularity from the games, there is an abundance of events and merchandise for the series. That popularity is spreading even further with the anime adaptation. Now a second season has been realized that answers fans’ wishes.
With the start of production, Risako Yoshida will continue from the OAD as director. The series composer is Hiroko Kanasugi who worked on the Jewelpet series, and Yuko Yahiro continues as character designer on the series. The animation will be produced by Zexcs.
The theme song has also been confirmed, and its title is “Kindan no 666.” It is a character song for two new characters to the TV anime series: Ko Mukami and Azusa Mukami. Ryohei Kimura and Daisuke Kishio have been cast as Ko and Azusa, respectively. The song will be released on CD in both a regular and limited edition on Wednesday, Nov. 25.
In other news, a completely made-to-order DVD box set of the first season of Diabolik Lovers will also be released. It will feature the full season, of course, as well as all the extras included in each volume of the limited edition DVDs. With a special ending PV and a dummy head situation movie included as well, this box set is great for fans who missed out on buying the volumes previously. It will be released on Jan. 8 at a price of 18,000 yen (plus tax).
It seems we’ll see even more from this series as the broadcast of the anime draws closer. Don’t miss any news to come.
