Nintendo recently revealed that it still has more surprises up its sleeve for lovers of Mario Kart 8 on Wii U!
On April 23, 2015, Nintendo will release the game's second DLC pack, which includes new tracks, new characters, and even a new racing mode.
There will be 8 tracks total featured in two new cups, the Bell Cup and the Crossing Cup. Get ready for the Mario Kart series to intersect with the Animal Crossing universe, as the Villager and Isabelle join the playable character roster. These cheerful racers join the starting line alongside Mario-vere's maniacal, fire-breathing Dry Bowser!
But that' not all! Perhap the biggest surprise is the inclusion of an insanely fast 200cc mode! Never before has a Mario Kart game allowed players to race at this frantic speed. It certainly is not for the faint-of-heart, as only masters of the 150cc class will be able to play in this racing mode.
As with the last DLC pack, gamers will pay an additional price to get their hands on the new characters and tracks. The 200cc mode is free with a software update to the game.
