Return to Your True Form! Angelic ‘Cardcaptor Sakura’ Reproduction Dresses Released!

Cardcaptor Sakura, the popular anime series by the four-woman production team CLAMP, and seller of goods featuring anime, idols and pop culture, Sukiyaki, have joined forces to bring out a series of dresses.

A long sleeved sailor dress inspired by protagonist Sakura Kinomoto’s Tomoe Elementary School uniform, as well as three types of battle dresses featuring motifs of clothes seen in the comics and magazines will be released.

From April 15, orders will be taken on the anime and fashion commerce site, SuperGroupies. Delivery is scheduled for the latter half of May.

Even big friends can become Sakura!

Sukiyaki has sold collaborative products in the cultural areas of anime, manga, music, and more, such as the Rose of Versailles and Hatsune Miku.

Their latest collaborative project, Cardcaptor Sakura, was serialized from 1996 to 2000 in Nakayoshi, a girl’s magazine published by Kodansha, as well as being made into an anime series.

This is a special chance for fans of the hugely popular Cardcaptor Sakura series to get their hands on their beloved outfits from the series, but with a modern style.

All items cost 14,800 yen (excluding tax) and are available in sizes 1 to 6.

Tomoe Elementary School Long Sleeve Sailor Dress

This is a long sleeve one-piece dress inspired by the uniform of Tomoe Elementary School, the school that protagonist Sakura Kinomoto attends.

Sukiyaki has arranged the elementary school uniform to be suitable for adults. The ties and ribbons can be removed.

Battle Dress Model: Sakura’s Cherry Blossom Dress

This dress is based on the battle dress that Sakura wears in the first volume of the comics.

The harmonizing pink tone contrasts with the deep burgundy ribbons.

Battle Dress Model: Sakura’s Alice Dress

This dress revisits the Alice in Wonderland-style dress that Sakura wore in the September 1996 issue of Nakayoshi.

Although at a glance it appears to have an apron attached, it is actually a combined one-piece dress.

Battle Dress Model: Sakura’s Stars and Stripes High Waist Dress

This dress borrows a motif of a dress used when Sakura transforms the Sword Card into a Sakura Card.

Reminiscent of a bolero, this design creates a chic impression with deep red and dark grey.

Either for special occasions or everyday wear, these dresses are must-have fashion items for fans! Try on one, and see what it’s like to be Sakura!
