Just as eagerly-waiting fans are getting excited over the December 2014 announcement of the “Songstress Audition” for the new TV anime series Macross Delta, thinking, “So the newest installment in the Macross series is finally getting underway!”, it looks like Macross is about to take over Shibuya Parco starting Feb. 6, 2015!
The event will be based on the concept of what it would be like if a special exhibition at the “Macross: The Museum” run by the New U.N. Government in the year 2059 from within the story actually existed in real life.
The event, titled “Macross Shibuyakku Deculture ~Macross: The Museum Ver. 2.0~,” will be held from Feb. 6-23, 2015 (open 10 am to 9 pm).
The event will include a life-size model of the cockpit of the VF-1S Valkyrie, in which visitors will actually be able to ride (and take photos for 1,500 JPY, including tax), and of course visitors will also be able to enjoy a wonderful collaboration menu, tentatively titled “Gourmet Macross.”
This event is simply filled with things that no fan will want to miss, including a gift shop with goods that feature new illustrations drawn especially for this particular event.
And besides, attending the event will also help get you extra hyped for Macross Delta—you simply have no reason not to go!
