A tie-in campaign is set to begin between J-World Tokyo, a Shonen Jump theme park in Ikebukuro, and the TV anime JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders. The event will run for a limited 2-month period, from Feb. 6 to April 15. It is titled “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders in J-World Tokyo.” There will be unique, original food items themed after the series, mini games that give out limited prizes, original goods and more to greet visitors.
The original plan for the event was for it to be themed after main character Jotaro Kujo, his friends, and the superhuman Stands from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders. First up, a standout limited food item is “Jotaro Kujo’s Chocolate Mousse Hat Cake.” Just as it sounds, this is a chocolate mousse cake in the shape of Jotaro’s hat. There are also details on the cake expressed through decorations and chocolate. Food items crowned with a Stand name will also be available including “Hermit Purple Spirit Polaroid Style Chicken Sandwich” and “Hierophant Green Melon Parfait with Cherries.” These will likely make JoJo fans reflexively grin from ear to ear.
There will be two mini games at the event: Jotaro’s Star Platinum Bowling and Avdol’s Tarot Reading. Fans will be happy to know that they are certain to win a prize regardless of which game they play. There will also be a variety of event-limited items available for purchase including diecut cushions, tumblers that change to show Stands when filled with a warm beverage, fold-away tote bags, A4 clear files, and more. Each item is limited so those who definitely want one should get theirs soon.
