
Finally, the broadcast has begun for the new anime Yurikuma Arashi directed by Kunihiko Ikuhara, a well-known director from Revolutionary Girl Utena and Mawaru Penguindrum.
Accompanying the start of the broadcast, the official online store Gawa Gawa Mart has already opened. Also confirmed is a special exhibit called “Yurikuma Arashi Museum Bear & Peace” coming to three Animate locations.
Ginko and Lulu Bear Items
*Yurikuma Arashi* is an anime project that has been developed in secret as the “Penguinbear Project” since the end of Mawaru Penguindrum in December 2011.
Manga artist Akiko Morishima is the series’ original character designer, and the manga has been serializing in Monthly Comic Birz since March 2014.
On the official online store that just opened there are items of Ginko and Lulu as bears including stuffed animals, mini towels, acrylic keychains, and more.

Other items available include clear stickers, clear files, a cup and saucer, and mini tote bag.

Those who spend more than 2,000 yen will receive a deluxe postcard as a present.
Special Museum Also at Animate
The exhibit “Yurikuma Arashi Museum Bear & Peace” will be held for a limited time at Animate Shibuya, Animate Tennouji, and Animate Nagoya.
On display will be panels of concept and background art, messages from director Ikuhara stuffed animals of bear Lulu and bear Ginko, and more. In addition, event-commemorative items and related products will be on sale.
The exhibit is free to visit and first come visitors will receive a postcard as a present.
