From here, PC Koubou designed a virtually silent PC that generates little heat. It utilizes a “superior performance per watt, power-saving Intel Core processor” and a “motor-less SSD [solid-state drive] data storage device.” The PC aims to come closer to providing the ideal environment for writing light novels. Furthermore, from the LCD monitor to the input device and software, various options are set up to protect data.
While the concept of this PC is aimed towards writers of light novels, the concept that resulted from this project is actually a common ideal for people who want to work and write quietly and comfortably. If you include novelists, writers, people studying for exams and so on, the target market for this PC becomes quite large.
