The release date of Persona 3 the Movie #3: Falling Down, the third chapter in a theatrical anime themed after the popular game Persona 3, has been confirmed. The movie will have a Japan-wide roadshow release on April 4 at Shinjuku Wald 9, Umeda Burg 7 and other theaters across the country. In addition to this, sales of advance tickets common countrywide will begin in theaters on Jan. 10. The limited release of a theme song CD set has also been confirmed, which will excite fans for the movie’s spring release.
A special reversible poster is included as the first bonus item with each advance ticket. This gigantic B2-size poster will likely become popular for being a teaser visual and 2015 calendar in one. The price of advance tickets is 1,500 yen (tax included).
On the web store familiar to fans of the game, Jika Net Tanaka, an advance ticket and theme song CD set will be sold. The theme song CD, titled Lights in Starless Sky, features four songs total including a karaoke version. The set costs 2,000 yen (tax included) and is available for pre-order. This theme song CD set will also be sold at the event “Persona Super Live 2015 - in Nippon Budokan - Night of the Phantom” to be held on Feb. 5.
Also, the Blu-ray and DVD of the previous movie, Persona 3 the Movie #2: Midsummer Knight’s Dream, will release on March 11. The pre-order-only limited edition will include loads of extras such as a soundtrack CD and a 48-page booklet. A commonality with the regular edition, both editions will also include a director’s cut with approximately 4 minutes of unreleased scenes and audio commentary. Pricing is as follows: 8,000 yen for the limited edition Blu-ray, 7,000 yen for the limited edition DVD, 6,000 yen for the regular edition Blu-ray, and 5,000 yen for the regular edition DVD (All prices include tax.).
