Lotte’s gum website, Crazy Gum Broadcasting Station, announced that it would begin the Gum Boyfriend Ballots featuring five “lovers for your mouth” who are handsome anthropomorphized versions of Lotte’s gum brands Black Black Gum, Xylitol, Acuo, Green Gum and Fit’s on Thursday, Nov. 20.
The main character is a female high school student at the private Kamu Academy. When she is suddenly turned into a tooth one day, five handsome young men (who are actually gum) appear out of nowhere and her peaceful school days are filled with heart-pounding moments... goes the story. The voice cast is superb, with Kazuya Nakai as Black Shigeki, Tomokazu Sugita as Kishiri Shirakaba, Yuki Kaji as Akuo Seiryo, Kenichi Suzumura as Gurin Shinryoku and Hiro Shimono as Fuitsu Yawaraka.
Visitors can cast their vote on the official ballot site (http://crazygum.tv/gumkare/), and a gift is being offered through Twitter. Additional content will be added continually, including A Flavorful Dream Novel, A Flavorful Whispering Voice and Flavorful Movie of a Young Girl. Polls will close on Thursday, Dec. 11 at noon (JST), so don’t forget to vote.
