FuRyu has announced a new TV anime to begin broadcasting in January 2015. The light novel series Seiken Tsukai no World Break published under SB Creative’s GA Bunko label is getting an anime adaptation.
Seiken Tsukai no World Break is a popular light novel series by author Shakko Awamura and illustrator Refeia. It takes place at the Private Akane Academy which is attended by young people who have memories of a past life. A story begins that will take main character Moroha Haimura and two girls he was deeply bonded with in a past live, Satsuki and Shizuno, down a path to a special life. In time with the anime announcement, a teaser site opened on Sept. 18. Teaser visuals have also been released on the site. A Twitter account has also launched, perfect for distributing information.
The foremost bit of information to come out is an announcement of a portion of the cast and staff. Main character Moroha Haimura will be played by a young actor who’s had a sudden rise to fame, Kaito Ishikawa. Moroha has memories of two past lives: one as Furaga, protector of the holy sword, and the other as Shuu Saura, a caster of banned spells. At Private Akane Academy he reunites with the girls he loved from both past lives and has an especially active presence in the school even among so many other gifted students due to his ability to remember more than one past life. Satsuki Ranjo, played by Ayane Taketatsu, is Moroha’s younger sister and a maiden of the sacred sword in a past life. She previously gave up on their forbidden sibling love, but she realizes, “Even siblings can get married in the modern world?!” And Aoi Yuki is playing Shizuno Urushibara. She has memories of once being a witch from Hades, and she succeeds in a predestined reuniting with Moroha.
Producing the animation is Diomedéa, which is well-known from Squid Girl and Riddle Story of Devil. Directing is Takayuki Inagaki of Rosario + Vampire, the series composer is Hiroshi Yamaguchi, and the character designer is Masakazu Ishikawa. Look forward to more information to come.
