Cute and Elegant! Four Rozen Maiden from the Series Rozen Maiden Transform from Antique Dolls into Pullip Dolls?!

Seven antique dolls called Rozen Maiden that possess their own will all aim to become Alice, the perfect doll, and battles unfold. A huge factor in the popularity of Rozen Maiden, a series of popular comics turned TV anime by Peach-Pit, can be said to be the loveliness of the antique dolls. Presently, there are many Rozen Maiden figures and Super Dollfie dolls available from several manufacturers. It’s a genre that has picked up the attention of even hobby fans.

Pullip, a series of fashion dolls with unique proportions and characteristically large eyes, are also releasing Rozen Maiden dolls in a collaboration series. We at TOM support Pullip and would like to introduce four dolls releasing in July: Kirakishou, Shinku, Suigintou, and Keikujaku. Of course, all of the pictures were exclusively taken for TOM! Let’s take a close look at these Rozen Maiden that are even cuter as Pullip dolls.

The shot of all four of them together is magnificent! Due to their designs as antique dolls, they fit right into the series and have a high level of perfection while at the same time possessing the unique loveliness of Pullip. A highlight is each character’s Gothic Lolita costume that looks gorgeous and beautiful. Keikujaku is a character not seen in the original work and TV anime, so these are rare shots of her.

The heroines of Rozen Maiden who have a central existence among the Rozen Maidens are the fifth doll, Shinku, and her rival, the first doll, Suigintou.

One primary characteristic of Shiku’s is the velour used for her red cape and one piece. Her supreme elegance gives fans comfort and can, of course, be seen in the visual as well as felt. It can’t be seen from the pictures, but she is also wearing a panier, drawers, and tights - a perfect arrangement even for traditional Lolita style. Shinku also has another characteristic - her blonde twintails and curls have been carefully constructed, and her charms are wonderfully captured.

Looking at Suigintou, her minute parts have been faithfully recreated, including her rose headdress and her dress adorned with crosses. Just like Shinku, her coat and dress are also made of velour. On the production side, fans will be able to notice the attention to detail in capturing Suigintou down to the glossy feel of her long silver hair. Her wings can also be removed, giving fans the option to display her as they like.

The design of the eyeline, which is unique to Pullip, captures the blue pupils and the epicanthic fold of the corners of the eyes. Both Shiku’s strong will and child-like personality are expressed. The mold of her pale pink lips, from which poisonous words will likely be heard, is another point to check out.

Suigintou’s cool personality is skillfully expressed through her white skin and red eyes as well as the color, thickness, and paleness of her lips. Her upward facing eyeline and eyelashes are very interesting in that they are in direct contrast to Shinku’s.

We’ve recreated the famous Alice Game scene between Shiku and Suigintou who fought so much together in the series they become friends. The elegant atmosphere that hangs in the air despite it being a battle scene may likely be attributed to the characteristics of Pullip. With an “eye gimmick” that lets you adjust their gaze and having over 30 points of articulation, many scenes can be recreated with these dolls.

Keikujaku is a character born from the illustration contest “What if There Was an Eighth Doll?” that was held in the Gothic Lolita magazine Gothic & Lolita Bible, and she doesn’t appear in the original work. She has a calm personality and she loves Shinku dearly, even addressing her as “dearest sister.” Her characteristics are her chestnut-colored semi-long hair and green eyes, as well as her vest that brings to mind the card soldiers from Alice in Wonderland. Underneath her vest she is wearing a one piece, so she can be enjoyed with her vest removed as well.

The three dolls introduced above are on sale now. But there is one more Rozen Maiden that is currently available for pre-order and will be released later this month. Let’s take a look at Kirakishou.

The seventh doll, Kirakishou, is a Rozen Maiden with an especially mysterious presence. Recreating Kirakishou’s image from the original work and anime, she comes with her trademark rose eyepatch, hair ornaments, a mini dress, and boots, all with the color white as the central theme. the beauty of her subdued and pale blonde hair and its volume are such high quality that you’ll want to compare them to the actual character.

Her impactful olive-green eyes will draw you in and you’ll be able to feel the lunatic charms of Kirakishou. Though her right eye is hollow and it is said that a white rose grew from it, the eye is included in her Pullip form. With this doll, you can enjoy expressing Kirakishou in ways that are only possible with Pullip.

Available now on the TOM Premium Shop in limited quantities are Shinku, Suigintou, and Keikujaku, and Kirakisho is available for pre-order. Each Pullip doll is a limited edition item, so this may be your only chance to collect all four.
