The rebooted TV anime Fairy Tail began broadcasting in April. Fans are casting an enthusiastic gaze on the anime due to it being the first new TV anime for the series in about a year. Linking up with this anime is the new launch of Monthly Fairy Tail Magazine. It has been revealed that Vol. 1 will release on July 17. After that, it will be published each month.

Monthly Fairy Tail Magazine is an official Fairy Tail fanbook. A combination of a DVD and fanbook, the magazine’s characteristic is that it includes manga, anime, goods, and all that is Fairy Tail in one package. Vol. 1 will be a big volume that spans 80 pages. A highlight of the magazine is a new serialization by Fairy Tail author Hiro Mashima. It is the first new serialization from Hiro in five years. Great anticipation is building around what kind of work it will be.

A spin-off serialization focusing on the popular Fairy Tail character Gray Fullbuster will also begin. This will be 30 pages of each issue and will depict a different episode for fans to enjoy each time. Of course, there will also be plenty of articles, reports on characters, and cast interviews introduced through a mixture of color pages. The DVD included with each issue will feature four episodes of the TV anime. In addition to this, it seems there will also be a secret video bonus and content that even those who have read the entire series won’t want to miss. The price is 2,759 yen (tax not included), and from Vol. 2 onward the magazine will release on the 17th of each month.

Fairy Tail is an adventure fantasy that began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine (Kodansha) in 2006. A TV anime was broadcast from 2009-2013, and the movie Fairy Tail the Movie: The Phoenix Priestess released in 2012. The new anime, the first in roughly a year, begins with the most obnoxious guild, Fairy Tail, becoming the weakest guild in Fiore Kingdom. Enjoy the series even more with the new TV anime and fanbook.
