Space Battleship Yamato 2199 has become a huge hit supported by a large fan base that had theatrical event screenings in 2012 and a TV broadcast in 2013. With the announcement of an all-new theatrical movie in the works, fans’ enthusiasm is increasing more and more.
Before the movie’s release, an exhibit will be held called the “Space Battleship Yamato 2199 Art Exhibition.” The exhibit will be held from April 22 to May 7 in the Seibu Gallery located on the second floor annex of the Seibu Ikebukuro department store in Tokyo. The exhibit will delve into the visual world of Space Battleship Yamato 2199.
Details on the exhibit are still unknown, but it has already been decided that valuable original drawings, documents, and art drawn for the occasion will be showcased. Several exhibits related to Space Battleship Yamato 2199 have been held in the past, but it seems this will be the largest one yet. There is no doubt that this will be the chance for fans to find out more about Space Battleship Yamato 2199, which served as a revival of the more than 40-year-old Space Battleship Yamato.
Tickets for the exhibit that come with deluxe pin badges fans won’t want to miss out on are also on sale now. The tickets cost 1,000 yen (excluding tax) and come with three deluxe pin badges designed after Space Battleship Yamato. Each of the designs is of Yamato, but they each have a different appeal to them. Regular tickets cost 700 yen, a considerable bargain over the 1,000 yen tickets that include the three pin badges.
