The light novel The Testament of Sister New Devil published by Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko is becoming an anime. The only news so far is that the anime is progressing in development; information on the cast and staff still hasn’t fully been revealed. Look forward to a follow-up report on this hit series with over 550,000 copies in print.
The light novel is created by author Tetsuto Uesu and illustrator Panda Okuma (Nitroplus). It is a fantasy action in which two younger sister-in-laws are actually the newbie demon lord and a succubus… It has picked up support for its slightly extreme premise and colorful scenes. Hailing itself as “The first in the history of Sneaker! A considerably ecchi battle action!” we wonder how it will translate to animation. In any case, the content will likely fire up fans.
Four volumes have currently been published, and this announcement comes right before the release of Volume 5 on April 1. Another of Uesu’s works, Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero, was broadcast in 2012, and The Testament of Sister New Devil is the next in line to become an anime. The manga version by Kashiwa Miyako is also doing well in Monthly Shonen Ace. This is up to its second volume.
