To celebrate the sale of their new customizable pen, the i+, Pentel Inc. is collaborating with Hatsune Miku to create five limited edition “Hatsune MIku × i+” pen bodies, to go on sale in March 2014.
The “Hatsune Miku × i+” series is a collection of customizable pen bodies featuring cute and pop designs of Hatsune Miku and friends. The new pens allow users to express their individuality with various colors and designs, and is a perfect match for Hatsune Miku, who possesses a range of vocal timbres and has sung on a wide variety of user-made songs.
Adorable Design based on the world of Hatsune Miku
The five different pen body designs express the world of Hatsune Miku. Each pen body not only features the character’s representative colors, but the distinct features of each of them. All of the character illustrations in the “Hatsune Miku × i+” pens are Pentel limited edition designs.
What is i+ (i plus)?
This customisable pen is based around the idea, “Add a bit of yourself.” Unlike typical pens that only allow you to change the body and the ink color, i+ pens are different because they also let you add earphone jack accessories to the top of the pen. By adding your favorite earphone jack accessory, the customization options are endless for you to make your own special pen.
