3D CG Anime Dimension Firewall Cheese Neapolitan

On Dec. 29, GMO Internet released a trailer for the short animation Dimension Firewall Cheese Neapolitan on both their official site and YouTube.

The fully 3D CG anime is based on Anzu Mikumo, the official character of the cloud server service GMO App Cloud, and Kono Mikumo, the official character of the virtual private server (VPS) service ConoHa by GMO. In charge of producing the anime is Studio Khara. Directing is Daisuke Onizuka who has worked on the Rebuild of Evangelion movie series. Onizuka is also helming the setup of the world, the scenario, and the continuity. Tomokazu Tashiro, a renowned anime song singer known from such anime series as Haruhi Suzumiya is in charge of the anime’s image song, “Up to You.”

Both GMO Internet and Studio Khara will have a booth at Comic Market 85, and for each day of the event they will be distributing 5,000 DVDs of the short anime to attendees. Also, a stamp rally between Microsoft Japan, Unity Technologies Japan, DNA, and GMO Internet will take place at the event, and collaboration postcards featuring the four companies’ official characters will be given out as presents.

Anzu Mikumo and Kono Mikumo are members of the Science Defence Organization PASTA’s ace counter-attack unit. The two are assigned a new duty: to land on a dark world whirling with bulwarks. Though they will fight on a world that transcends space-time, they still have no idea that this will be their most rigorous mission yet!
