The TV anime Blood Lad was broadcast this year from July to October. Even now after the broadcast has ended, there is huge news for fans to get excited about. On Jan. 5, 2014 at the Maihama Amphitheater, the event “Blood Lad Premium Event in Maihama - Next to the Promised Land is Hell” will be held. The main cast and theme song artists will all get together for the event.
Participating from the splendid cast will be Ryōta Ōsaka (Staz Charlie Blood), Iori Nomizu (Fuyumi Yanagi), Takuma Terashima (Wolf), Emi Bridcutt Sarah (Bell Hydra), Ryōhei Kimura (Braz D. Blood), Yūka Nanri (Liz T. Blood), Chiwa Saitō (Mamejirō), Taichi Komesu (Deku), Kazutomi Yamamoto (Mimic Yoshida), and Kōji Yusa (Akim Papradon).
Furthermore, May’n, singer of the opening theme “ViViD,” and Yuuki Nanri, singer of the ending theme “Bloody Holic,” will also perform. The event will include a variety of content such as an original drama, talk show, performances of the theme songs, and more. Look forward to this fan appreciation event to be held early next year.
The anime for Blood Lad is based on a manga of the same name by Yūki Kodama that is currently serializing in Young Ace. The anime and manga are both filled with concepts loved in Japanese culture including vampires and high school girls who become ghosts, and the series has become popular for its unique characters.
