Attack on Titan, the broadcast to which ended in September, is a TV anime that has deep-rooted popularity. We’ve now learned that rubber straps that are an absurdly eye-catching fusion of characters from the series and mushrooms, a unique shape that is loved by many, will be released. These will go on sale from anime- and game-related goods manufacturer CafeReo in January 2014.

Six characters are being splendidly fused with mushrooms: Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, Erwin Smith, Zoë Hange, and Levi. With each one having a unique expression, these are items fans will want to get their hands on. Being that these products are an unbelievable collaboration with mushrooms, they are already generating a buzz on SNS sites.
Through partnerships with CafeReo, these products will go on sale at anime goods shops and hobby shops throughout Japan as well as on online shops.
The manga Attack on Titan has broken through 23 million books sold, and the anime will pick back up this month. With game adaptations on the way as well as being big at events, the popularity of this series keeps accelerating with no signs of slowing down.
