In anticipation of the Oct. 26 theatrical release of the latest Puella Magi Madoka Magica film, Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion, Madoka Magica themed stamps are now available on the smartphone communication app Line via its Stamp Shop. Extremely popular in Japan, Line is also downloadable in a variety of different languages for users abroad. The stamps are a fun way to communicate with friends.
The Madoka Magica Line stamps are of chibi versions of the familiar characters of the series including Madoka Kaname, Homura Akemi, Mami Tomoe, Sayaka Miki, Kyōko Sakura, and Kyubey. Each stamp cleverly express the special characteristics of each character. The Madoka Magica 40-stamp set is available for US$1.99.
The TV anime Puella Magi Madoka Magica debuted January 2012 and became a huge hit for its original story. In 2012, the anime was made into two films: Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Beginnings and Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Eternal. Now, fans can look forward to an all new Madoka Magica story when the latest film, Rebellion, releases in Japan on Oct. 26.
