To commemorate the broadcast of The Super Dimension Fortress Macross on WOWOW from Aug. 12, a 1:1 scale VF-25 Valkyrie model was put on display at Minato Mirai station in Yokohama.
This year is the 30th anniversary of the first broadcast of Macross. Now, the HD edition of the starting point of the series, The Super Dimension Fortress Macross and the movie Macross: Do You Remember Love? are broadcasting on television for the first time. The life-size Valkyrie is planned to stay on display at the Mirai Tube Hall located on the B3 floor of Minato Mirai Station on the Minato Mirai Line until Sept. 2.
During the ceremony on Aug. 9, there was also a model dressed as Lynn Minmay. Knowing that the character came from Yokohama Chinatown, she was wearing a Chinese dress.
