Huge Live Event to be Held at Makuhari Messe for “Macross” Series

“Macross Crossover Live 30” will be held on July 13, 2013 at Makuhari Messe in celebration of the Macross series’ 30 year anniversary. The event’s official site launched on Feb. 10 and announcements on the event have begun.

Singers from across the Macross series will gather at the event. Performers already announced include Mari Iijima, the voice and singing actress for Lynn Minmay; Yoshiki Fukuyama, the singing actor for Basara Nekki from Macross 7; Chie Kajiura, the singing actress of Mylene from Macross 7; as well as voice actors and singers May’n and Megumi Nakajima from Macross F. It’s likely that even more performers will be announced soon.

Although similar events have been held for Macross since the 2009 event “Macross’s First Year Commemorative Macross Crossover Live,” there is still just as much excitement brewing for this event!
