Puella Magi Madoka Magica originally broadcast as a late-night anime in January of 2011. Since then, the episodes have been gathered into two films: Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Beginnings and Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Eternal. Now, the third film, Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie: Rebellion, will release on Oct. 26 throughout Japan. Unlike the past two films, the third film will feature a new story.
Further news has been released concerning the film. The already revealed poster features the line “Even if the world crumbles” together with a visual of Akemi Homura standing alone. This time, the special news revealed is also a visual, and it features the line “Although alone, although in sorrow, there is no one to have understand these feelings” and the latest impactful image of Homura. It is certainly a film that will give focus to Homura.
