An animated movie is being made for the popular TV anime Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! that began its broadcast in October 2012. Takanashi Rikka Revision: Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! The Movie will be released on Sept. 14 in 27 theaters across Japan.
Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! is a popular anime from Kyoto Animation, the second season of which has already been decided on. Now, the world of this anime will be coming to the big screen. In addition to a summary of the first season, the movie will feature new scenes. Also, the story has been reconstructed and will be told from the point of view of Takanashi Rikka.
The second round of advance tickets for the movie began being sold on July 19. The tickets come attached with IC card stickers specially drawn by character designer Kazumi Ikeda. In recent years, the amount of movies based on anime have been increasing, and along with this, attention has been increasing of presents given to those who purchase advance tickets and to attendees who see the movie. This is due to an increase in the items being refined and unique.
The present for the first part of advance ticket sales was a clear file folder of characters in their swimsuits also drawn by Ikeda. These advance tickets cost 1,500 yen each (includes tax). The IC card illustrations are limited in number and are given out randomly. Once stock of this item runs out, this promotion will end.
Additionally, items from this anime will be on sale during Comic Market 84 to be held from Aug. 10-12 at the Pony Canyon and the internet radio station Onsen booths. Item that will be up for grabs include the “Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! Radio: Yami no Hono ni Dakarete Kite - Fan Book & Voice CD ‘Black Raison d-etre Dunkelheit Notiz’” and the “Radio Meigen Chuunibyou Voice CD.”
