“Tree Diagram”––the pride of Academy City, a supercomputer with the ability to make future predictions. Mikoto, who breaks into the facility with the plan of hacking into the high tech computer that started it all to hinder the experiments, comes to learn a shocking truth: it was already attacked by someone and destroyed; it is no longer operational. Mikoto loses sight of everything and, while in half desperation, attacks a nearby facility. She thinks that if Tree Diagram is destroyed, she’ll just destroy everything related to the experiments. However, after destroying everything, she sees on a monitor in the facility a scene from an ongoing experiment. Meanwhile, while looking for one of Misaka’s clones, Touma happens upon an unbelievable seen at the back of an alley.

Her clones continue to be created and slaughtered. With the conviction to stop the crazy experiments, Mikoto sets her eyes on destroying their root: the supercomputer known as Tree Diagram. However, after breaking into the facility, she learns that the supercomputer was destroyed months ago.
Not knowing what more she can do to stop the insane cycle and save her clones, she falls into desperation and goes on a rampage, attacking a facility that happens to be nearby. Meanwhile, an experiment is carried out in the back of an alley between one of Misaka’s clones and Accelerator, the strongest esper who can manipulate vectors. The clone frantically fights against him, but she is vastly overwhelmed. From Misaka’s location in the destroyed facility, she watches helplessly on a monitor as the gruesome scene unfolds. Happening upon the aftermath of the scene, Kamijo Touma also learns of the existence of the experiment.
The scene in which the clone is murdered is quite graphic, so viewers may want to take caution. What will Mikoto do from here on? And how will Touma’s knowledge of the experiment change the situation? Maybe he will become good friends with Mikoto who, up until now, has acted alone. Touma and Mikoto, overcome this desperate situation together!
