On July 6, the broadcast of the TV anime Fantasista Doll will begin on MBS and other networks. Many cute girls that appear in the work have already been introduced. Now, male characters and their voice cast have also been revealed.
Soichiro Hoshi is performing the role of Rafflesia no Kimi, a mysterious man who watches over Uzume’s growth as a card master. Kyousei Tsukui is performing the role of Rinto Mikasa, a man who searches together with Rafflesia no Kimi for a secret card. Both selected voice actors are quite popular.
Newly announced voice actresses for the female cast include Kaori Nazuka, who is voicing Uzume’s upperclassman Kiyomasa Komachi, and Masayo Kurata, who is voicing Uno Mikoto, the mother of the slight airhead Uzume. Each voice actress is popular and has great talent for voice acting, and thus was chosen to solidify the work. There is no doubt that each cast member will be able to charmingly perform the unique characters.
Also, in celebration of the TV broadcast, a mini gallery is being held at Gee Store Osaka. At the gallery, fans are able to enjoy visuals of the cute characters from the anime. Character cutouts, anime stills, and precious storyboard content are on display. It is a great chance to enjoy the world of the anime prior to the broadcast. This event will be held until July 28.
In other news, the latest PV for the anime became viewable on the Fantasista Doll official site. The catchy, two-and-a-half-minute video announces the voice stars of the characters, and also features the opening theme song “Ima yo! Fantasista Doll!” Everything seems to be in perfect order for the broadcast to commence.
Fantasista Doll is an original TV anime created by Goro Taniguchi, who also directed the TV anime Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. Taniguchi is working as the creative producer for the anime while Hisashi Saito directs, illustrator Anmi manages the character drafts, and Hiromi Kato leads the animation character design team as the general animation director.
