The production staff of the anime adaptation of Blood Lad, a popular manga currently serialized in Monthly Young Ace (published by Kadokawa Shoten), has already been announced. Now the voice cast for this long-awaited anime to begin airing next month has also been revealed.
In order to appropriately match the unique characters, many skillful voice stars are participating. Ryota Osaka is voicing Staz Charlie Blood, a vampire who is the ruler of the Eastern district of the Demon World and who is infatuated with Japanese culture. The main heroine Yunagi Fuyumi, a high school girl who wants to become a ghost, is being played by Iori Nomizu. Wolf, the ruler of the Western district of the Demon World, is being played by Takuma Terashima. Other cast members who are increasing anticipation for the anime include Emi Sarah Bridcut, Ryohei Kimura, Yuuka Nanri, Chiwa Saito, Taiichi Komesu, Kazutomi Yamamoto, and Koji Yusa.
Furthermore, on June 30, before the start of the broadcast, an advance screening event will be held for the anime at Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku in Tokyo. The event will also include a cast discussion. Osaka, Nomizu, and Kimura will be participating in the event. Hot news regarding the anime will be discussed at the event before its TV broadcast begins.
