An anime adaptation of the manga Arpeggio of Blue Steel has been greenlit. The popular manga produced by Ark Performance is currently serialized in Young King Ours (published by Shonen Gahosha) and has sci-fi and navy themes.
Seiji Kishi is directing the anime. He has worked on several hits including Persona 4: The Animation and the unforgettable anime Angel Beats. Makoto Uezu, known for working on Devil Survivor 2: The Animation and The Qwaser of Stigmata is in charge of the screenplay. Kouda Masato, famous for working on the game series Monster Hunter, is in charge of the music. In addition to a great staff, the animation studio responsible for 009 Re:Cyborg is producing the work. From here on out, anticipation is increasing for this high-quality anime!
